Documenting the street culture scene was a kinetic and fast-paced endeavor. It required a run-and-gun filmmaking style, adapting to spontaneous moments and diverse subcultures. I learned to build rapport quickly with subjects, allowing for intimate and unguarded interviews.
This project was a major milestone in my editing career, as I had to weave together disparate narratives into a cohesive series. The challenge of finding the overarching theme across different street art disciplines ultimately made the final product much stronger. I am proud to have given a platform to these incredible underground artists.
